Meekwap Property
The Meekwap project consists of 576 gross hectares of land and is located approximately 50 kilometres west of the town of Swan Hills in Township 66, Range 15 W5M. Keeper participated in drilling a well to 2400 metres resulting in oil production from the Nisku formation. Under the terms of the farm-in, Keeper paid 25 percent of the well costs to earn a 25 percent interest in the well before payout (subject to an overriding royalty of 15 percent on gas and a sliding scale of five percent to 15 percent on oil until payout) and 12.5 percent after payout. Also, by drilling the test well, Keeper earned 12.5 percent on the remaining lands.

By December 2005 Keeper increased its interest from 25% before payout to 41.7% and from 12.5% to 20.8% after payout on the 9-29 oil well. As a result of the purchasing the well interest, Keeper increased its working interest in the remaining undrilled 512 hectares from 12.5% to 20.8%.

The 9-29 well is currently producing approximately 90 barrels per day of light oil. Two additional wells have been licensed and are scheduled to be drilled by year end. There are five additional locations that can be drilled based the success of the wells drilled before year end.

Sexsmith Property
Through a farmout, Keeper rentered a suspended wellbore and completed the Paddy zone which production tested 1.2 mmcf/d with no water. The well is currently being tied into Encana’s gathering system. Keeper has earned a 50% working interest in section 21 T 74 R6 W6.

Keeper's current land position in the Bittern Lake area consists of 2100 gross hectares and 1890 net hectares. One target is the coal bed methane gas in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation. Another objective of the program is to evaluate Glaucontic sand gas prospects. Keeper has reentered the 02/10-4 wellbore and recompleted the Glauconitic zone for gas production. The well is currently producing about 70 Mcf/day. The 2-26 was drilled for CBM, production tested 100 mcf/day from the coal and 80 mcf/d from the Edmonton sand, and is currently being tied in. The 12-2 well was drilled for CBM and is currently being evaluated. Keeper has entered into a farmout agreement with Devon Canada on 2 sections of land and has elected to drill a well to test the Glauconitic and Ellerslie sands.
